All of these files are provided as is. 3D Printing software may vary and files that can print on the printers at the University of Waterloo might not work elsewhere! Check with a 3D print operator first to make sure the file looks good. Hopefully, if there are any problems they will be minimal, but I cannot guarantee that. All files are hosted on Dropbox.
Spanish Cup Hilt
The first model I made and the simplest. Probably a little too simple. I think I might revisit this and improve it at a later date with the knowledge I made creating the later models.
Italian Swept Hilt
The second model I created and the one I chose for 3D printing. Was created with lots of Bezier curves, and it has an intricate design.
German Pappenheimer Hilt
The final model, and probably the most well made. There are fewer curves, but came with its own interesting challenges, like creating the curved guards.
